Veggies and Fruits That You Can Grow Indoors from Scraps
Did you know that according to the team of NNC, some plants can be regrown from their residues. And here is the list:
Take sprouted smaller potatoes ,leave them at room temperature, and after some time plant them in a shallow pot or in the garden.
When you see that the roots have grown, add another layer of soil.
Sweet potatoes must be planted deeper.
Plant one sprouting onion one cm deep ,place it on a sun and water it from time to time.
Avoid too much water and you will see new slips very soon.
You must reduce the watering when the cocks-foot begins to form .
You will need a nylon or straw cover for enough moisture but avoid planting it near peas and beans.
Next make a hole in the soil, 5 cm deep, put the clove with the root downward.
Place the cabbage, together with its root, in a bowl with water, don’t soak the leaves to prevent them from rotting.
Replace the water with new every day and don’t forget to place the bowl in a sunny spot.
Together with its root, put a lettuce in a bowl of water and put the bowl in a sunny area.Change the water daily and in two days, you’ll notice new leaves.
Remove the top and leave just 2,5 cm from the leaves around the base .Then plant it in a glass of water . Reduce the irrigation to once weekly and be patient .
Cut the celery 2 to 3 cm above the root , put it in a bowl of water and in a sunny indoor area. You need to sprinkle it with water twice weekly.
Enjoy in your little garden .
