Acute bronchitis  can become severe  but the good thing is that  you can  treat bronchitis at home.

Here is how:
1. Water.

-Dr. Axe. recomends to drink  1 glass of water every 2 hours can help thin mucus and open the bronchial tubes.

2. Home-made vapor rub.

Dr. Axe recommends :

-1/4 cup olive oil,

-1/2 cup coconut oil,

-1/4 cup grated Bees wax (available at health foods stores),

-20 drops peppermint essential oil, and

-20 drops eucalyptus essential oil.

How to make it:

Pour the olive oil, coconut oil, and Bees wax into a jar.

Heat a sauce pan with 2 inches water ,place the jar in the sauce pan and when the oils melt, stir to combine.

Let it cool ,add the essential oils,pour into storage containers and you are set.
3. Steam.

Best Health Magazine says that all you need to do is to lean over a bowl of steam  with a few drops of eucalyptus or pine essential oil.
4. Cayenne pepper.

Cayenne and other spicy foods are recommended by  Best Health Magazine.
5. Oregano oil.

Dr. Axe recommends oregano oil to keep bronchial healthy.
6. Ginger, cinnamon, and clove.

According to Top 10 Home Remedies  tea made from 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, cinnamon, and clove is all you need to get better in  no time .
7. Garlic.

Just boil 3 cloves pealed and chopped garlic in 1 glass milk or water.

Drink before bed.
8. Honey.

Just add 1 teaspoon honey to hot tea or hot lemon water.
