According to Nourish, reflexology is the practice of massaging the feet to stimulate certain nerve endings. These nerve endings correspond to organs and zones in the body, so you can match your massage to your baby’s ailments.

Start with relaxing your baby and encouraging blood flow to the foot with a soothing foot rub, or a bath.Continue with applying  gentle pressure .

7 points to know:

1) Head and Teeth Ache

Babies  have head and teeth pain. If so massage the tips of their toes! You can do this  while they are sleeping as well.

2) Sinus Pain

Sinus pain can be  relieved with a  massage on the center underside of your baby’s toes.Simply apply a gentle pressure to provide pain relief!

3) Chest

The very top of your baby’s foot or the spot that touches the ground, right above the arch, is connected with the chest.

Massage to cure colds, chronic cough, and chest congestion.

4) Stomach Pain (solar plexus)

In order to soothe stomach spasms, upset tummies, tightness and trouble breathing  you need to massage the center of the foot of your child, just below the pads of the feet, at the beginning of the arch i. This point is related to the Solar Plexus that is a gathering of nerves between the stomach and lungs.

5) Pelvis

Hip pain is a  result of a sudden growth of certain body parts. You need to rub the heels of your baby in order to alleviate this type of pain.

6) Abdomen Pain (Upper and Lower)

Massage the space between the middle of your child’s foot and the pads of their feet to cure constipation, heartburn, and indigestion, . If the baby is having pains from gas and bloating in the lower intestine, massage between the middle of their feet and heel.
