Fruit Roll Ups
I got inspiration from one incredible blog and decided to make this Fruit Roll Ups .
After making them I simply had to share the recipe with the rest of the world because this fruit based snack also called Fruit leather are simply amazing .
Fruit Pulp- 132 grams
Sugar-30 grams (roughly)
Lemon Juice -1 tsp
NOTE: Fruit pulp and sugar are in ratio 4:1.
– You can use honey instead of sugar and if the fruit is sour, you can skip lemon juice.
First wash , peel and chop the fruit.Then blend it well.
Put it in a non stick pan and cook it on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
Stir and heat it till it reaches sticky consistency and evaporate excess water.
Next,line the tray with parchment paper and brush it with some oil.
Put the puree mixture in the greased tin/tray and spread it into even layer.
Let it sit on sunlight for 2 days.
When the surface of fruit roll up is not sticking to your finger and there is no liquid part left then you can go to the next step.
That is to make straight cuts and then roll them gently.
