There are detox foods and  great detox recipes,:warm soups, teas, juices, and smoothies that are  supplying our body  with sufficient amount of nutrients and will also  help you to lose those extra  pounds .

Cabbage

  • abundant in vitamin C and vitamin K
  • low in calories
  • has the ability to eliminate potential carcinogens
  • help prevent cancer.

Detox Cabbage Soup Recipe
– choppe 6 large onions
-dice 2 green peppers
-dice 2 cans of tomatoes
-slice 250g mushrooms
-chop 1 bunch celery
-chop 1/2 head cabbage
-slice 3 carrots
-1 package dry onion soup mix
-Cayenne pepper, curry powder or mixed herbs
Preparation:

  • sauté the chopped onions in a large pot by spraying some oil
  • add the green peppers and heat for a minute
  • add the sliced carrots, cabbage leaves, mushrooms, and celery
  • add 12 cups of water
  • cook over a medium heat.

  • a teaspoon of honey and ACV in the morning can go a long way

Honey and Cinnamon Tea

  •  half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • a cup of boiled water
  • mix and let it to steep for  20 minutes
  • add a teaspoon of raw honey
  • consume in the morning about half an hour before breakfast.

  • a teaspoon of raw honey
  • two teaspoons of lemon juice
  • a glass of room temperature water
  • mix and consume in the morning on an empty stomach and during the day after meals.

  • to alkalize your body and get rid of the few extra pounds, drink water with a squeeze of fresh lemon on a daily basis and on an empty stomach.

Recipe:

  • 1 (8 oz) glass of warm filtered water
  • ½ of a freshly squeezed lemon
  •  squeeze a fresh lemon juice into a glass with warm filtered water
  • stir and drink on a empty stomach .

4. Avocado

Blueberry + Avocado Detox Smoothie
1 banana
1 avocado
1 cucumber
1 handful spinach
1 cup blueberries
Coconut water

Cranberry and Berry Detox Juice
– ½ cup coconut water
-¼ cup fresh cranberries
-¼ cup fresh blueberries
-¼ cup fresh blackberries or raspberries
-blend and  jump-start your day .

Cranberry Detox Water
-8 ounces purified water
-½ cup fresh cranberries, crushed
Preparation:

  • crush the cranberries
  • add them into a glass with purified water
  • let it sit for half an hour.

Pineapple Blueberry Green Detox Smoothie

  •  1 cup baby spinach,
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks,
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt,
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon,
  • a dash of turmeric,
  • 2 teaspoons chia seeds (or flaxseed meal),
  • 1 small piece of ginger root,
  • the juice from ½ a lemon,
  • ½ cup liquid (water, any kind of milk or juice)
  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • blend and you will get 2 servings of : 150 calories,2 grams of fat, 34 grams carbohydrate, 3 grams of protein .

Green Detox Juice

  • 1 cucumber
  • 1 lemon
  • 3 apples
  • 5 stalks of spinach or kale
    wash,cut and blend
  • enjoy .

Cucumber Detox Water

  • 24 ounces of ice-cold water
  • 3-5 slices of cucumber
  • ½ lemon
  • Few mint leaves
  • Peeled sliced ginger
  • put all the ingredients to water
  • let them soak overnight in the fridge
  • drink the detox water in the morning on an empty stomach.

Kale Smoothie

  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 handful of baby kale

  • 1 Grapefruit
  • 1 Lemon
  • 2 Oranges
  •  cut and squeeze out the juice

Lemon Ginger Detox Drink

  • ½ inch knob of ginger root
  • 12-ounce water, at room temperature
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • grate the ginger
  • mix everything and drink .

Beets recipe

  • 1 small beet
  • 2 apples
  • 1 handful of kale
  • 2 carrots
  • run all through the juicer .

 
Coconut Oil

  • start your day with two tablespoons of virgin coconut oil
  • take one or two tablespoons during the day
  • also drink 8 to 12 glasses of water during your detox

Green Tea Spiced Tonic

  • 8 ounces Purified Water, near boiling
  • 1 bag Green Tea
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric

  • steep the tea
  • remove the tea bag once the spices are fully dissolved.

Cinnamon detox drink 

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • add the cinnamon into a cup of boiling water
  • steep for 15 minutes
  • add the honey when the water is cool
  • drink half a cup of the drink on an empty stomach
  • drink half a cup 45 minutes after dinner.
